Synch-Solutions Completes Upgrade of Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management at The College of New Jersey

CHICAGO, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Synch-Solutions, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced today that it has completed an upgrade of Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). The upgrade, from version 8.9 to version 9.1, was completed on October 31, 2011.

Synch-Solutions adapted the methodology used for the upgrade from its Campus Accelerator service offering, which delivers a full implementation of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Financials and Human Capital Management (HCM) to higher education institutions in only 12 months. Campus Accelerator was proven through Synch-Solutions' successful full implementation of PeopleSoft at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, completed in December 2010. The TCNJ project helped Synch-Solutions extend its Campus Accelerator toolkit to address upgrades at institutions of any size, and to develop a lab environment that enables much of the project activity to occur offsite on Synch-Solutions' own servers.

"We collaborated with Synch-Solutions for our upgrade of Oracle's PeopleSoft HCM. Using their Campus Accelerator lab option we were able to successfully bring our project to an on-time and within-budget expectation," said Nicole Parkman, Director, Enterprise Applications, at The College of New Jersey. "The Synch-Solutions team helped us successfully manage our project and convert our data, and took the time to help us understand how we could make changes to enhance our business processes. They were 100 percent devoted and committed to our success."

"The College of New Jersey project gave us a tremendous opportunity to develop a reusable toolkit to deliver rapid PeopleSoft upgrades for the higher education space," noted John Sterling, CEO of Synch-Solutions. "The upgrade lab environment provides a new means to reduce costs and time to project completion, enabling faster return on investment for client institutions."
